Course Description

Making audiences cackle & bringing community together at shows like Perth International Burlesque Festival & The Apprentease WA, to producing award winning charity shows & raising $15,000 for indigenous and queer-focused charities, Serenity Von Varda is going to walk you through the magic of MC’ing!

A step by step workshop teaching you the ins & outs of MCing backstage & onstage; on how to create quick unique intro notes for each event & performer, how to project your voice & command an audience from your first step on stage, and how to shine in the spotlight with your unique charm, with an actual physical stage!

Our aim is to boost your confidence in holding the mic, being in the spotlight & commanding attention & arming you with the tools to handle anything that gets thrown your way when you MC your next show!
