Intermediate Burlesque Dance Level 1

Course Description

A direct continuation from Beginners Burlesque Dance Course Level 2, the Intermediate Dance Course Level 1 will introduce you to different burlesque performance and music styles.

Over the 6 weeks, you will delve more into musicality techniques in dance and burlesque performance, learn about floor craft within a dance act, charactization and facial expression.

Combined with costume tips and performance hair & make-up styling techniques, you will learn a progressive themed fun and sexy group routine throughout the 6 weeks, which you have the option of performing together at the Fresh Faced Follies Graduation show.

What to Wear

Comfortable clothing and heels you can easily dance in (recommended). A bottle of water.

Please note that if you do want to participate in the optional grad show performance at the end of the course, there will be additional costs/sourcing involved in purchase of costume items and presentation, which will talked about in week 1.

Restrictions

This course is open to all genders over the age of 18yrs.
You must have done the Burlesque Beginner's Dance Level 1 & 2.

*People with disabilities are welcome to bring along a support worker if needed.
*All dance teachers are happy to adjust dance moves as needed to accommodate people with disabilities.
