Big Boa Burlesque

Course Description

Exaggerate your bumps and grinds with our big boas. This course is an introduction to the seductive art of tease with this stunning, classic burlesque prop.

Learn how to deftly maneuver our tulle boas, all the while learning a fun and sensual routine.

You will get the chance to perform the routine with the group at the Sugar Blue Burlesque graduation show!

Sugar Blue is a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ folks, and we are dedicated to making all people across the gender and sexuality spectrum feel respected and included. What to Wear

Comfortable clothing and heels you can dance in. Bring along a bottle of water.

Please note that if you do want to participate in the optional grad show performance at the end of the course, there will be additional costs/sourcing involved in purchase of costume items and presentation, which will talked about in week 1.

Course is open to all genders over the age of 18 years old. 

*People with disabilities are welcome to bring along a support worker if needed.
*All dance teachers are happy to adjust dance moves as needed to accommodate people with disabilities.
