Audio Production 101 with Minxy Milva

Course Description

Learn the fundamentals of audio production to level up your next Burlesque Performance! Minxy Milva has 14 years of experience in audio editing and broadcasting (not to mention the creation of nearly 100 music tracks for local Burlesque performers) and is ready to share her tips and tricks to give you more freedom in creating your Burlesque number!

The workshop is suitable for any kind of performance or music genre. In this 2 hour workshop we will be going over:

- Learning file formats and how to export your track
- Making sure your track will sound great on the stage
- Removing segments of music - Splicing music tracks together
- adding sound effects and voice over
- simple enhancements to give your music that extra razzle dazzle.

What to Wear

Feel free to bring paper, pen or your laptop.

Handouts and online resources will be supplied in class
