Solo Burlesque Intermediate Act Development Course

Course Description

If you've completed the Solo Burlesque Beginners Act Development Course or you have developed and performed a solo act previously, have a good understanding on the fundamentals of act creation and you have an idea for a new act or want to develop further an existing act, this is the course for you.

This course is designed to give you some guidance and support by a teacher and fellow students in creating a Burlesque act.

There will not be any theory in this course, this is a practical course. The teacher will issue you deadlines week to week and give you some one on one time for critique and brainstorming throughout the 6 weeks as well as time to rehearse in the studio.

You will have the opportunity to perform your act at a Sugar Blue Burlesque Unleashed show at the end of the 6 week course. This is optional. 

*Please note that even though this is a Solo course, you are welcome to develop duo/ small group acts in this course. Each person in the duo/ small group must sign up to the course individually however.

What to Wear

Wear comfortable clothes. You must come to the first class with an act idea.

Restrictions

Open to all genders over the age of 18 years. 

Please note due to a government requirement, you must present your COVID double vaccination or medical exemption certificate at the first lesson to attend the classes in studio.
