Cabaret Chair Dancing

Course Description

Jump into the hot seat and experience a fun and sassy burlesque class that will have you looking at your household chairs in a whole new light.

Your Sugar Blue teacher will be guiding you through poses and moves around the chair as well as teaching you a full group cabaret chair dancing routine which you have the option of performing at a Sugar Blue Burlesque show.

This is perfect for any one that has done any burlesque classes or just always wanted to learn the art of dancing with the chair.

All you need is a a pair of fishnets and a great attitude, then you can feel free to explore what it means to be a strong, sexy and confident woman with the element of tease right in the palm of your hand, or in the seat of your chair!

What to Wear

Comfortable clothing (being aware that you will probably have your legs in the air), a bottle of water and heels you can dance in recommended (but not essential!)

Please note that if you do want to participate in the optional grad show performance at the end of the course, there will be additional costs/sourcing involved in purchase of costume items and presentation, which will talked about in week 1.
