Course Description

Take your burlesque skillset to the next level with our Advanced Neo Burlesque course!

Designed to push your creative space, our Sugar Blue Burlesque Advanced Neo Burlesque course will explore neo burlesque elements of mood, movement and music.

With a strong focus on characterisation, you'll learn a modern interpretation of burlesque with a theatrical edge!

You will have an opportunity to perform this group routine together at the Sugar Blue Burlesque Fresh Faced Follies Graduation show.

What to Wear

Dance shoes, comfortable clothing and a water bottle.

There will be a costume for the grad show performance at the end of the course, and there will be additional costs/sourcing involved in purchase of costume items and presentation, which will talked about in week 1.

Restrictions

This course is open to all genders, over 18 years old.

Sugar Blue Burlesque Intermediate 2 and minimum dance level required - your regular/ current teacher approval must be obtained to join this class.

*People with disabilities are welcome to bring along a support worker if needed.
*All dance teachers are happy to adjust dance moves as needed to accommodate people with disabilities.
